Design Principle
Design principles prioritizing optimal user experience include visibility, feedback, consistency, and freedom and control. The design incorporates color-coding, shadows, and contrasting colors to highlight important parts of each page, while clickable options work correctly. Navigational elements are also clearly visible, and the interface is easy to use. Overall, the design is intuitive and provides users with a sense of control and freedom.
Reflections
I worked in a cross-functional team including two other designers to focus on the design process that involved developing a high-fidelity prototype in Figma and conducting usability testing to validate our design decisions. The project required intensive feedback collaborating which helped us refine our design. Maintaining design consistency throughout the project was challenging. However, by meticulous attention to details and ongoing communication and problem-solving skills, we ensured that the design remained cohesive and aligned with the project's objectives.
