Overview

Problem: People may be frustrated by slow ​typing speeds and they need a hand to write ​better messages.

Solution: Owl AI keyboard enhances ​messaging experience by integrating the ​power of AI into fingertips and suggests ​context-aware and relevant text suggestions, ​enabling users to express their thoughts ​quickly and accurately.

Design Principle

Design principles prioritizing optimal user experience include visibility, feedback, ​consistency, and freedom and control. The design incorporates color-coding, shadows, ​and contrasting colors to highlight important parts of each page, while clickable ​options work correctly. Navigational elements are also clearly visible, and the interface ​is easy to use. Overall, the design is intuitive and provides users with a sense of control ​and freedom.

Reflections

I worked in a cross-functional team including two other designers to focus on the design process ​that involved developing a high-fidelity prototype in Figma and conducting usability testing to ​validate our design decisions. The project required intensive feedback collaborating which helped ​us refine our design. Maintaining design consistency throughout the project was challenging. ​However, by meticulous attention to details and ongoing communication and problem-solving ​skills, we ensured that the design remained cohesive and aligned with the project's objectives.
